LifeExtension Iron Protein Plus (iron in organic form)
Iron Protein Plus is a special form of iron in the form of IPS (Iron Protein Succinylate – iron in a protein matrix). This means that the natural form of iron is tied to proteins, which means that its absorption is much better and easier and does not cause the classic side effects of iron preparations such as nausea, constipation and black stools.
Classical iron suplements are very sensitive to absorbing mechanisms, since it is weakend by consumption of tea, coffee, milk and other.
The iron in the protein matrix is very well absorbed and its absorption can slow down only high doses of calcium in the same meal.
Classical iron preparations are also typically very heavy for the intestines and cause a heap of digestive problems, including nausea and weakness. Iron Protein Plus does not cause these side effects.
Where does Iron Protein Plus help?
The key role of Iron Protein Plus is the elimination of anemia (anemia), because it provides the body with iron that helps in the formation of red blood cells and hemoglobin. Hemoglobin carries oxygen through the blood and thus the basic element for burning calories and production of energy for the whole body.
In this way Iron Protein Plus helps:
- Improve cognitive function (learning, memory, focus, logical conclusion…),
- createing more energy in the body and,
- Improve the functioning of the immune system,
The main sign of anemia is also fatigue and exhaustion. If your fatigue is linked to anemia due to iron deficiency the Iron Protein Plus will effectively elevate your energy.
Iron Protein Plus with its special absorption formula often helps even when other iron preparations wont.
For further improvement of absorption, you can also eat something sour at the meal (best addition of HCL, plain vitamin C or some sour food or drink).
Did you know?
Although iron deficiency is the most common cause of anemia, there may also be a deficiency in vitamins B12, B9 and B6 leading to lower hemoglobin.
S-iron is not a reliable marker of iron status in the body. Feritin is far better for assesing body iron stores. The other markers are transferin saturation, TIBC and UIBC. If you are sick or have any other causes of inflammation, feritin is not a reliable marker.
